That's right. I have hit month two of Harvard.
And it's actually pretty wonderful :)
I'm still not feeling the anti-Yale thing (I mean, anymore than usual because New Haven sucks)... maybe that happens after the football game... the football game which I can't afford to travel to.
So what has changed? Well, I do work now. I met a burrito that I enjoy (oh, felipe's, my love for you is like an ocean)... and I find that I do my best studying after midnight in the 4th floor of a reeeaaallly big library.
People: awesome, classes:great, weather: I haven't seen the sun in 6 days. But hell, I'm from New England, I can deal with that.
I paritcipate in college a capella (hah!), and I'm in a production of Rocky Horror.
I think the only lasting "oh my god"-ness that has stayed with me in terms of "I can't belive I'm here" is when random famous people show up to class or just hang around with undergrads. It's bizarre to sit next to Sen. Kennedy in Justice class. And I totally got to eat dinner with Yo Yo Ma, but its the random stuff (almost spilling my coffee on the Times' Adam Nagourney this morning) that freaks me out.
Also, if you are ever on a tour of Harvard Yard, DO NOT f-ing take my picture, or anybody else's. We are late for spanish, we are tired and we don't care if you think we're endearing. Jeezz...
